Curtis Bekkum MD Curtis
was born in Viroqua, Wisconsin.
He received a BS and MS in Biology from the U of A in Fayetteville and graduated in May
2005 from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences' College of Medicine.
He was awarded a fellowship from NASA for his study of exobiology (study
of life outside of earth). He
is fluent in Japanese and is studying Spanish.
He has a 3rd degree black belt in Iaido (Japanese sword fighting)
as well as a black belt in Karate and further trains in Kendo.
He collects and restores antique Japanese swords.
He also enjoys woodworking.
He is married to Miki who is an R.N. and they have
a daughter named Kiki. |
