James Ellis DO

James received his Doctorate of Osteopathy as a graduate of the 2003 class of the University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City.  He completed a one year traditional DO rotating internship in Wichita in 2003-2004.  He is a graduate of the  Class of 2007 of the AHEC-NW Family Medicine Residency Program.

James was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa and has family who live in Prairie Grove, Arkansas.  He received his BS in Biology from Southwest Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri.  He is single and his hobbies include fitness and bodybuilding.  James was a member of the SMSU cheerleading squad and has taught cheerleading and gymnastics to high school and college students.

Dr. Ellis practices at the Charleston Clinic in Charleston, Mississippi.
